Angus come from behind to
beat North-east U-14 boys

Angus County under 14s boys staged a great comeback victory against the North-east at Kirriemuir after trailing 2-1 in the morning foursomes with their only success coming from the unbeaten pairing of Calum McKay and Connar Cook.
The Angus boys turned the match around in the singles, winning games 2 and 3.
Then the tail wagged furiously with great wins from John Miller and Harry Clark.

Calum McKay (Grange) & Connar Cook (Caird Park) bt Robbie Gauld (Cruden Bay) & Andrew Carrel (Peterculter) 3 and 2.
Ally Bremner (Edzell) & Ross Dallas (Kirriemuir) lost to Chris Lamb (Newmacher) & Ben Murray (Portlethen) 6 and 5.
John Miller (Monifieth) & Harry Clark (Kirriemuir) lost to Charles Cross (Peterhead) & Jack Moir (Newburgh) 2 and 1.
Singles
Connar Cook lost to Robbie Gauld 5 and 4.
Calum McKay beat Andrew Carrel 5 and 3.
Ally Bremner beat Chris Lamb 2 and 1.
Ross Dallas lost to Ben Murray 1 hole.
John Miller bt Charles Cross 1 hole.
