McLean lowers Peterhead record

Paul Lawrie protege Philip McLean shaved one shot off the course record in the August medal at his home course, Peterhead, today in the club's August medal.
McLean, a Scotland youth cap, had nine birdies and two bogeys in returning a seven-under-par 63 with halves of 33 and 30. The previous record for the 18th oldest golf course in the world was 64.
He hit 16 greens in regulation and took 27 putts.
His figures were:

IN: 3 4 4 3 3 4 2 3 4: 30
