McKnight holding on to third
place in Chiberta Grand Prix

Robert McKnight (Caprington) was holding on to second place, but losing ground on the leading Frenchman after three rounds of the Chiberta Grand Priz at Biarritz in southwest France.
Robert has scored 65, 68 and 67 for a 54-hole total of 200 - sorry, don't know the par of the course but, judging by the low scoring, it must be under 70.
Guillaume Cambis, who has a precise handicap of +3.6, is seven shots clear on 193 with scores of 63 (a course recored), 65 and 65.
England's Jason Palmer is joint third on 202 with scores of 68, 69 and 65.
Compatriot Farren Keenan is fifth with one round to play on 204, made up of the following sco0res, 68, 70 and 66.
A third Englishman in the field, Billy Hemstock, is tied for seventh place on 206 with 68, 66 and 72.
Kilmacolm's Matthew Clark is sharing 17th place on 210 with scores of 67, 71 and 72.
Stirling University student James White (Lundin) dropped back to joint 29th place with a third-round 75 after scoring 67 and 70 in the first two rounds.
