First I would like to say that the website is fantastic. No need to buy a paper now, all the golf news is here!
Just a wee story about our score on Sunday (June 16) at a Texas Scramble at Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club.
After a slow start ( two under after five holes) we hit a hot streak. We ended up being 14 under par for the last 13 holes with a back nine of 25!
Our handicap was 1.5 (10% of 15) and we had a gross 55, net 53.5. As we won the tournament by 0.2 of a shot, every single putt and holed sand iron on the eighth by Mike McDonald counted. Our figures from the sixth onwards were :
Birdie 4.
Birdie 3.
Eagle 2.
Par 3.
Birdie 3.
Birdie 3.
Par 4.
Birdie 3
Eagle 2.

The members of the team were:
Mike MacDonald(+1) , Chris Cummings (11), both Fortrose & Rosemarkie, Neil MacDonald (5) and myself David McIntosh (scratch), both Nairn Golf Club.
++Have you had a particularly good round or even half a round lately. You can share it with readers of Scottishgolfview by sending the information to Colin@scottishgolfview.com
