MURCAR LINKS MAN'S BIG HIT FOR GLENEAGLES ACE

Murcar Links scratch player Stephen Burt achieved hs first hole in one with a mighty hit from the back tee of the 14th hole at the King's Course, Gleneagles today.
The hole, called the "Denty Den" measures 309 yards and Burt was playing with Stonehaven's Frank McCarron, Ewen Alexander and Steve Judge.
"Unfortunately we never saw the ball go in but the group waiting on the 15th tee certainly enjoyed it!" said McCarron.
