EUROPRO TOUR SCOTS ANGLE

Aberdeen's Graham Gordon and Lorne Kelly from Cowal were the top Scottish earners at the conclusion of this week's PGA EuroPro Tour event, the Ivobank UK Masters at Collingtree Park, Northampton.
They finished joint 22nd on one-under-par 215 with Gordon and Kelly both signing off on a miserably wet day with scores of 73. Each picked up £350 for finishing 10 shots behind the Irish-born winner Alan Murray who shot a great final round of 67 in the teeming rain to win the £10,000 top prize with an 11-under-par total of 205.
Paul Doherty and Elliot Saltman shared 36th place on 218, for which each pocketed £252. Doherty had a creditable final round of 74 but Saltman had a nightmare 81, finishing a triple bogey 7 at the 17th and a triple bogey 8 at the 18th for 44 blows after the turn.
