CARVER LEADS DREAM TEAM TO VICTORY
IN BRECHIN INVITATIONAL PRO-AM
Jamie Carver, the professional who runs the St Andrews Golf Store, piloted "The Dream Team" of John Milne (handicap 16), Richard Milne (17) and Graham Forbes (5) to victory in today's Brechin Golf Club Invitational shotgun pro-am.
With the best two from four scores to count, Jamie & his team topped the bill with a 21-under-par total of 121.
They won by two strokes from Ian Graham (Crow Wood) and the Call Centre Dynamics' trio of Russell McKeever (14), Steve Dye (10) and Robbie Ross (7).
Third place, on a better inward half countback, went to the host club pro Steven Rennie and the Netherton Farm team of Bill Lamb (7), Stephen Lamb (7) and Colin Lamb (5) with a score of 124.
