Spotlight on start of PGA EuroPro Tour

LORNE KELLY, CALLUM NICOLL
LEAD SCOTS ON STORMY DAY

Not the kind of day the PGA EuroPro Tour officials were hoping for for the start of a new tournament season.
High winds and a lot of rain at Wensum Valley produced the kind of scoring that does not look good in the morning papers, those papers that do report on this circuit.
Englishman Stephen Lewton battled on best of all of the field of 156 to lead at the end of the day with a one-under-par 71.
The best Scots were Tartan Tour man Callum Nicoll (Prestwick), picture right by Cal Carson Golf Agency, all rights reserved, and former Walker Cup player Lorne Kelly (ProDream USA) on the 73 mark.
