KELLETT, McALLISTER QUALIFY
FOR FINAL ROUND OF NEW SOUTH
WALES CHAMPIONSHIP

Rain has disrupted the schedule for the New South Wales amateur championship over the Pennant Hills and North Ryde Golf Club courses.
Several players still have to complete thier second round. The organising committee have decided that the field will be cut to the leading 60 after the completion of 36 holes.
After the third round, the leading 32 - play-off if necessary - will go forward to the match-play championship, starting on Wednesday

129 T Hart 65 64.
132 M Smyth 67 65.

136 M Baldwin (England) 69 67, M Cryer (England) 70 66 (jt 13th).
137 Z Gould (Wales) 69 68, G Wolstenholme (England) 69 68 (jt 16th).
139 R Kellett (Scotland) 70 69, S McAllister (Scotland) 72 67 (jt 31st).
141 B Loughrey (England) 70 71, Adam Runcie (Wales) 71 70 (jt 53rd).

LATER NEWS: A total of 66 players with 36-hole scores of 141 or better qualified for the third and final round.
