SCOTLAND IN CONTENTION
United States' Boo Weekley and Heath Slocum retained the lead for the third day in a row but they are only one stroke ahead of Scotland and France going into Sunday's final round of the Omega Mission Hills World Cup tournament in China.
Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren put together a better-ball third round of 66 for a 19-under-par tally of 197 to share second place with France.
United States, last to finish, posted a better-ball 66 for 196.
England, joint second overnight with Scotland, dropped back to 18 under par with a 67 and a share of fourth place with South Africa.
Last year the Scotland pair lost in a title play-off to Germany. They are bang in contention again going into the final round.
