MICHAEL SIM SHARING 13th PLACE IN
US TOUR Q SCHOOL STAGE TWO


Aberdeen-born Michael Sim was sharing 13th place at the halfway stage of the US PGA Tour Qualifying School Stage 2 event at Royal Dunes Golf Club, Maricopa in Arizona. Sim, 23, has had rounds of 67 and 71 for a six-under-par 36-hole tally of 138. He had birdies at the long seventh, short 11th and par-4 14th but bogeys at the ninth and 10th in halves of 36 and 35.
Leading the field at this venue, one of six being used across the width of America, are Americans Brent Delahoussave and Christo Greyling with matching scores of 65 and 69 for 10 under par 134.
Only the leading 15 and ties at the end of four rounds will go forward to the Final Qualifying School at Orange County National Country Club, Winter Garden in Florida over six rounds from November 28 to December 3.
