JAMIESON AND KNOX IN THE
MONEY AT NGA HOOTERS
TOUR WINTER SERIES

Scott Jamieson from Glasgow and Russell Knox from Inverness finished joint fourth and tied 19th respectively in a field of 132 for the NGA Hooters Tour Winter Series event over the 6,984yd Legends course at LPGA International Golf Club, Daytona Beach in Florida.
Jamieson, pictured right, pulled himself up from 24th with a final round of five-under-par 67. His earlier rounds were 72 and 75. His total of two-under-par 214 - 13 shots behind the winner, Jeff Corr from Florida, earned him $3,734.
Knox, who now lives in Jacksonville, Florida, after completing four years at Jacksonville University in the spring, shot 72, 72 and 74 for a total of 218, which earned him $1,310.
Scots who failed to make the 36-hole cut at 148 were Paul Cormack (Inchmarlo) with 72 and 83 for 155, Gerrard Duncan (Turnberry) with 83 and 74 for 157 and Chris McCalman (unatt) 84-75 for 159.
Entry fee per event for the NGA Hooters Tour Winter Series is $725 for members. For non-members, it costs £850.
In the first event of the Winter Series, played over the LPGA International Champions Course, Jamieson collected $,1584 for a 12th place finish with scores of 69, 72 and 74 for a 54-hole total of 215 over the 7,088yd course.
Knox finished joint 22nd on 219 with scores of 73, 73 and 73 for a $924 reward.
The cut fell at 148 and Duncan and McCalman missed it with totals of 153 (75-78) and 154 (77-77) respectively.
