ADAM LINDSAY NAMED ATHLETE OF WEEK
FOLLOWING VICTORY IN FALL CLASSIC
Banchory's Adam Lindsay, a student at Iowa Wesleyan College, was named the Midwest Collegiate Conference men's Athlete of the Week following his victory in the William Penn Statesmen Fall Classic with a three-under-par total of 137 (66-71).
"Adam is definitely deserving of this honour," said IWC head golf coach Ted Peetz. "He has been playing very well for us this season and I'm glad he was able to be recognised as the MCC's player of the week."
It was Lindsay's second tournament win as a Iowa Wesleyan College student. He won the St Francis Invite two years ago. This is the first time he has received the Athlete of the Week accolade.
