CARNOUSTIE AMATEUR MCNICOLL LEADS THE
PROS IN MIDLAND ALLIANCE AT THORNTON


Carnoustie's Scotland international player Keir McNicoll won the Midland Golfers' Alliance competition over a windy Thornton Golf Club course in Fife today.
McNicoll, who plays off +4, had a gross round of level par 70 to win the leading scratch prize by two strokes.
Ken Thomson (Alloa), playing off 13, had the best net score of 69.
