ARTHUR PIERSE IS ON THE TRAIL OF
ANOTHER SENIOR AMATEUR MAJOR

Tipperary's British senior amateur champion Arthur Pierse defeated stroke-play medalist (leading qualifier) Steve Bogan at the 19th in their third round match at the USGA Senior Amateur Championship at Flint Hills National Golf Club.
“It was a match no one deserved to lose,” said Pierse, who kept his hopes of winning the British Senior Amateur and USGA Senior Amateur in the same year alive.
“Both players were really tough out there. It was just nice to come out on the right end.”
Results at the par-71, 6,511yd course at Flint National Golf Club in Andover, Kansas.
