VICTORY AT GLENEAGLES

Mark Loftus's capture of the £8,800 first prize in the Gleneagles Scottish PGA championship on Sunday has propelled the Cowglen tour pro to the top of the Tartan Tour money table with earnings of £19,516.
He is about £2,000 ahead of Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills).

Loftus, only 28, still has ambitions to play on the European Tour and he will have another go at the Tour School qualifying process over the next month or two.
