North won the inter-district youths golf championship at Ballumbie Castle Golf Club, Dundee with a total of 1034 – 14 shots ahead of runners-up North-east with Angus (1088) last of three.
North’s Michael Watson (Elgin) won the individual title for the second year in a row with scores of 69 and 70 for 139 – three shots ahead of North-east’s Grant Carnie (Newburgh on Ythan).
