CLUBGOLF SCOTTISH YOUNG PROS PRO-AM
Troon Welbeck assistant professional David McLure led the amateur trio of John Duncan (handicap six), Neil Jarvis (5) and MSP Tom McCabe (18) to victory with a net score of 17-under-par 54 in the Clubgolf Scottish young professionals' championship pro-am at Muckhart Golf Club near Dollar today.
No individual pro scores were returned.
Runners-up on 58 were Alan Gowran (East Renfrewshire) and Chris Munro (2), Jim Morris (6) and Andrew Munro (7).
Two teams returned net scores of 59. Third place with a better inward half were Scott Pithie (Carluke) and Lianne Muirhead (17), Raleigh Gowrie (4) and Logan Gray (5). They pipped Scott Grieve (Kingsacre) and Darren Robertson (15), Justin Hynd (17) and Paul Crandles (12).
