ALAN'S DOUBLE WHAMMY WIN IN NEWMACHAR PRO-AM
Ladybank professional Alan Lockhart won the top cash prize of £875 at The Fairways shotgun pro-am and Newmachar Golf Club today (Friday).
Alan's five-under-par round of 67 had an eagle at the 16th and birdies at the first, fourth, 13th and 14th. His only bogey came at the fifth in halves of 35 and 32.
Dean Robertson (unattached) was runner-up with a 68.
Lockhard also guided the Uniconn team of amateurs - Michael MacLeod (handicap 11), Richard Barr (3) and Vicky Riddell (6) - to victory in the pro-am with a net score of 16-under-par 128.
