DOAK WINS EDZELL PRO-AM WITH FIVE-UNDER 66

Chris Doak won today's Edzell Golf Club pro-am by two strokes with a five-under-par round of 66.
The former Northern Open winner had birdies at the first, foufth, eighth, ninth, 11th and 18th. His only bogey came at the 14th. His financial reward was £1,085.
James McGhee (Turnhouse) and Sam Cairns (Westerwood) shared second place on 68.
Ross Cameron (McDonald Ellon) led the B J Services 1 team to victory in the pro-am with a net score of 15-under-par 127. The amateur team members were: Bob Wright (handicap 12), Glen Cairs (11) and Trevor Spry (5).
