THIS MORNING'S E-MAIL POSTBAG

Hi Colin
Enjoyed your article (preview of Scottish women's championship) which I totally agree with. Why can Scottish Counties, SLGA, West Vets, Scottish Vets etc etc --- not sit round a table and make sure that events do not clash, because every year we seem to have a total shambles?
It is very disappointing and a lot of the events are missing some of the key players .
WHY --OH WHY !!

Hi Colin

Couldn't agree with you more on the issue of changing the date for the 'Scottish'.
Long gone are the days (notwithstanding Ms Pow!) when the Scottish was dominated by the over 30's.
Like it or not, the SLGA is going to have to find a solution if the event is not to suffer a loss of prestige as a result of a sizeable number of key players being unable to play because of exams or inter-collegiate events.
