FOUR SCOTS IN FIELD FOR
HOOTERS TOUR'S
QUICKSILVER CLASSIC
Six players from Scotland, England and Northern Ireland are among a field of 168 for the NGA Hooters Tour event later this week, the $200,000 Quicksilver Classic at Quicksilver Golf Club, Midway in Pennsylvania.
There are four Scots - rookie pro Scott Jamieson, pictured right, from Glasgow, who is doing rather well on the US satellite circuit, Joel Hendry from Elgin but resident at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Colin Speirs from Dunkeld and long-term Lakeland, Florida resident David Kirkpatrick, orginally from the Edinburgh area.
Then's there Ulsterman Gareth Maybin from Ballyclare, one of the most successful competitors from outwith the United States on the Hooters Tour over the last couple of seasons, and another former US college circuit player, David Skinns from Lincoln.
