TEXAS TIGHT LIES TOUR
RHIND WINS $400 RAIN CHECK
Lee Rhind from Uphall won $400 dollars for a joint 47th place finish on two-under-par 214 in the Texas Tight Lies' Tour event, the El Pason Open.
The tournament's scheduled fourth and final round on Sunday was cancelled because of heavy rain but the organisers still managed to stage a five-man sudden-death play-off to see who would go home with the $14,000 first prize.
The five had tied on 14-under-par 2002. The play-off winner was Chad Wellhausen.
