SCOTTISH AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

GLEN TAYLOR MAKES DEBUT FOR
NORTH-EAST AT ALLOA
Former Newmachar club professional Glen Taylor, reinstated as an amateur and now a member at Meldrum House, will make his debut for the North-east District team in Sunday's Scottish area team championship tie against Clackmannan over Alloa's Schawpark course.
Taylor recently won the North-east District match-play championship for the Jaffrey Cup.
Glen and Laurie Phillips (Cruden Bay) replace the unavailable Bryan Innes (Murcar Links) and Allan Reith (Royal Aberdeen) compared with the side that beat Dunbartonshire in their opening sectional tie.

Paul Cormack (Inchmarlo), Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord), Terry Mathieson (Murcar Links), Laurie Phillips (Cruden Bay), Glen Taylor (Meldrum House), Mark Halliday (Royal Aberdeen).
