LEE VANNET HEADS 25 QUALIFIERS
Carnoustie’s Lee Vannet headed the 25 qualifiers for next week’s Kronenbourg Deer Park Masters with a sparkling round of five-under-par 67 in the qualifying round at Deer Park today.
Next best were Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills), Dean Robertson (unattached) and David Park (Wishaw).
There was a card play-off on par 72 to eliminate two of the eight players on that mark.
