EUROPEAN MEN'S INDIVIDUAL AMATEUR
EIGHT SCOTS BOUND FOR ITALY
There are eight Scots in the field for next week's European men's individual amateur championship at Bella Golf Club near Turin in Italy.
They are:
Glenn Campbell (Blairgowrie), Jordan Findlay (Fraserburgh), John Gallagher (Swanston), Scott Henry (Cardross), Scott Jamieson (Cathkin Braes), Keir McNicoll (Carnoustie), George Murray (Earlsferry Thistle) and Paul O'Hara (Colville Park).
Richie Ramsay (Royal Aberdeen) and Lloyd Saltman (Craigielaw) are competing in the United States men's amateur championship at Hazeltine Golf Club, Chaska in Minnesota.
New Scottish champion Kevin McAlpine (Alyth) and West of Scotland Open winner Callum Macaulay (Tulliallan) are notable names absent from the Scottish party for Italy.
