LOCAL KNOWLEDGE PAYS OFF

David Orr, playing over his home course, won the Sense Scotland Invitational pro-am at East Renfrewshire Golf Club today.

Orr shot a three-under-par 67 to win by two shots from Gary McFarlane (World of Golf) and Campbell Elliott (Haggs Castle).

The team event was won by the Creek Poperties amateur trio of Tim Hunter (2), Marco Guarino (17) and Derek Bissett (14) and Deer Park professional Brian Dunbar with a net score of 15-under-par 125.
