Hannah McCook sharing fourth place at Coventry

A double bogey 6 at her penultimate hole - the eighth - cost Hannah McCook (Grantown on Spey) a possible share of second place after 36 holes of the English women's open amateur golf championship at Coventry Golf Club.
Starting at the 10th, McCook bogeyed the 12th and 14th but her round came alive when she birdied the first, second, third and sixth only to slip up with two holes to play.
She finished with a level par 73 for a two-round tally of 147 and a share of fourth place behind the five-shot leader, Isabella Holpfer (Austria) (66-73).
Curtis Cup player Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne) (79-77) and Hazlehead's Jasmine Mackintosh (77-79) made the cut on the limit mark of 156.
