Jillian and Heather finish in top 30 at River Landing Classic

Scots Jillian Farrell from Dumbarton and Dundee's Heather Munro finished joint 12th and 27th respectively in the US women's college circuit tournament, the River Landing Classic at Wallace, North Carolina today.
Jillian, a freshman student at Charlotte University, had five birdies either side of a run of bogeys at the 11th, 12th and 14th in a final round of two-under par 70. Her earlier scores were 79 and 71, giving her a total of four-over 220
Munro, in her fourth and final year at Elon University, Phoenix, scored 73, 78 and 72 for 223.
Emily Mills (Rutgers) topped a field of 83 competitors with scores of 76, 69 and 67 for four-under 212
Charlotte University (879) finished fourth of 14 teams behind Campbell University (857). Elon University (897) came ninth.
