Scots down the field in Penina Classic III finale

Scots Alan Welsh (T34), Craig Lawrie (T46) and Ben Craggs (T46) were well down the field of 62 the conclusion of the Algarve Pro Tour's Penina Classic III.
Over the par-73 course, Welsh shot 75-73 for 148; Lawrie 77-76 for 153 and Craggs a similar total with rounds of 76 and 77.
English players, as usual on the Algarve, dominated the event, filling all the leading placings.
Gary King (69-65) won with a 12-under total of 134, a shot aheadof Max Orrin (66-69) with David Dixon (68-69) and James Walkers (68-69) sharing third place on 137.
