Ewen Ferguson finishes T17 in Egypt

Ewen Ferguson from Bearsden, a former British boys champion, finished joint 17th in the Alps Tour's Ein Bay Open at Sokhna Golf Club, Egypt today.
Ferguson, pictured, had rounds of 75, 68 and 69 for a four-under-par total of 212.
Italy provided the winner and runner-up in Michele Ceal (69-67-68 for 12-under 204) and Michele Ortolani (66-71-69 for 206). "Michele" is the Italian form of "Michael."
Irishman David Carey finished third on 207 with scores of 66, 68 and 73. He won 2,560 euros.
The winner earned 5,800 euros and the runner-up 3,950.
