Matt Dalrymple leads King with a 75


KING UNIVERSITY NEWS RELEASE
SNOW HILL, North Carolina  – The King University men's golf team from Bristol, Tennessee opened the Conference Carolinas Championship with a score of 306 and sits in fifth place with two rounds remaining.

Freshman Matt Dalrymple, pictured, a freshman from Lochwinnoch and an Old Ranfurly GC member,  leads King as he is in seventh place after an opening round of 75.
 Conditions more akin to Scotland with high winds yesterday round a monster course. Rain delayed R2 start today and forecast not good in Greenville, North Carolina tomorrow either

Matty Lamb leads Charlotte with a 70


Matty Lamb (Charlotte), pictured right, a freshman from Hexham, spearheaded Charlotte University's first-round effort in the 2017 C-USA Men's Championship at Texaskana Country Club, Arkansas on Sunday.
Lamb shot a two-under-par 70 over a course of 6,969yd to be three shots behind the leader, team-mate Seth Grandy who had a five-under 67.
Stuart Easton (Western Kentucky), a second-year student from Irvine Ayrshire, is T10 with a 72.
Edinburgh's Murray Naysmith (Alabama-Birmingham) had a 75 to be T27.
John Gough (Charlotte), a freshman from Slough, is T35 on 76, a shot ahead of Tim Harry (Alabama-Birmingham).
Conor Purcel (Charlotte), a freshman from Dublin, is T59 in a field of 65 players after a 83.
