McNeill 12 shots off the pace at Baton Rouge
Duncan McNeill from Annan, a second-year student at McNeese State University, Lake Charles, Louisiana is in joint 39th place in a field of 78 with one day to go in the David Toms Intercollegiate tournament at University Club, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
McNeill, pictured below, has had rounds of 74 and 80 for 154 over a par-72 course of 7,220yd.
Team-mate Tom Atkins from Poole has shot 78-81 for 159.
Louisiana State students are dominating the tournament with three of them sharing the lead on level par 142 - Brandon Pierce (66-76), Louis Gagne (73-69) and Nathan Jeansonne (70-72).
