WRIGHT MAKES IT TWO WINS IN 

A ROW AT LOSSIEMOUTH

Jeff Wright followed up his victory in the opening North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Garmouth and Kingston with another success in the second competition of the 2016-17 season, at Moray Golf Club's New Course at Lossiemouth on Saturday.

The Forres Golf Club member headed a field of 81 players with a four-under-par round of 66 which included birides at the first, fifth, sixth and seventh in an outward 31.

He did not drop a shot until the 10th and had a second bogey at the 16th but also further gains at the 15th and 17th.

He had three shots to spare from joint runners-up Bryan Fotheringham (Forres), David Joel (Inverness) and Boat of Garten pro Ross Harrower.
