Tournament officials announced today that a back injury has
forced Australian Jason Day to withdraw from the upcoming World Cup of Golf in Melbourne, where the 10-time winner on the US PGA Tour was planning on returning to his native country for the first time since he and partner Adam Scott won the event
in 2013.
Scott, now the highest-ranked player from Australia, has the opportunity to pick a player to take Day's place
