Adam Fisher finishes joint 14th in Tennessee
Adam Fisher, from Westhill, Aberdeen, a second-year student at Missouri State University, finished tied 14th in a field of 60 players at this week's Austin Peay State University Intercollegiate tournament at Greystone Golf Club, Dickson, Tennessee.
After 36 holes and scores of 72 and 73, Fisher, pictured, was only three shots behind the eventual winner, but the Scot could do no better than a 77 in the third round to finish on 222 - nine strokes behind Hunter Richardson (Tennessee-Martin) who had scores of 72, 70 and 71 for three-under 213 to win by three.
But Fisher's effort helped Missouri State (877) win the team title by five shots from Mercer (882) and Tennessee-Martin (884) in a field of 10 teams.
