Murcar Links beat Royal Aberdeen 3-2 in the final of the Aberdeen and District men's pennant league in windy conditions at the Kings Links today (Sunday).

With the overall position balanced at 2-2, Gregor Stewart and Alan Holbrook won the decisive final point for Murcar Links with a 5 and 3 victory over Iain Middleton and Grant Joss.

Other winners for Murcar Links were Ronnie Brechin and Neil Sadler. Two of the five ties finished all square.
