Carluke boys win Lanarkshire junior title

Carluke boys are Lanarkshire junior champions for 2016. They won the title in glorious weather at East Kilbride Golf Club. 

In the morning semi-finals they beat Kirkhill Juniors 4-2 and in the afternoon they defeated Colville Park  5.5-0.5     

Mount Ellen Juniors were unable to play in the semi-finals due to late call-offs through injury and unavailability. 

Our thanks to East Kilbride Golf Club for once again supplying a superb course and clubhouse facilities for a Lanarkshire event.        

This is the first time Carluke have won this prestigious junior tournament which started in 1960.
