Lenzie's Euan McBride wins Dumbartonshire boys' medal play championship

Euan McBride (Lenzie)  won the Dumbartonshire Golf Union boys' medal play championship at Clydebank and District Golf Club with a two-round total of 143. 

In second place on 149 was Craig O’Hara (Palacerigg) with Ian Taggart (Lenzie) third on 150. The first round leader was Ian Taggart (Lenzie) with a fine round of 70 but rounds of 72 and 71 saw Euan take the title after the second round.

 

The top 16 players will now go forward to the Matchplay Championship at Clydebank and District Golf Club on July 21 and 22.
