Ed Wood wins Cameron Corbett Vase as 

Barry Hume loses two-shot lead in final round

Ed Wood of Crow Wood Golf Club won the Cameron Corbett Vase by one shot from Barry Hume, playing over his home course at Haggs Castle, and Alva's Lawrence Allan in the weekend's prestigious Scottish Golf 72-hole Order of Merit event.
Wood shot rounds of 72, 68, 70 and 71 for a total of seven-under-par 281.

Hume, who led by two shots after the third round , had scores of 69, 72, 67 and 74.
Allan, who has played on the American college circuit, scored 72, 71, 67 and 72.
Wood birdied the 13th, 17th and 18th holes to snatch victory with an inward half of 33 in blustery and wet conditions.
Hume's final round of 74 cost him a home-course win. The former Scottish amateur champion, winner of the Welsh open amateur stroke play this season, had a double bogey 6 at the 13th and a crop of bogeys with the result that birdies at the 16th and 18th could not hold Wood at bay.
Allan had his third eagle in four rounds at the par-5 18th but not quite enough to force a play-off.
