Chancellor wins North District seniors' title

Laurie Chancellor (Inverness), the only scratch player in a field of 71 for the Macallan North District seniors golf championship at Muir of Ord today (Friday), won the title by a comfortable couple of shots.

Chancellor shot a three-over-par 71 to win the Macallan Trophy.

Home course men filled the second and third places. Brian Davidson had a 73 and Bert Nicholson a 75, winning third place with a better last six holes than Donald MacKay (Inverness) who also had a 75.
