Ewan Scott 75, Bradley Neil 78 at Jones Cup 

Ewan Scott from St Andrews. a second-year student at Tennessee-Chattanooga, outscored British amateur champion Bradley Neil (Blairgowrie) by three strokes in the opening round of the Jones Cup Invitational at Sea Island, Georgia today (Friday)

Scott, pictured, shot a three-over-par 75 for a share of 26th place while Neil had a 78 for joint 52nd position.
The first round is still in progress at the time of writing.
Kyle Jones opened up an early three-shot lead with a four-under-par round of 68.
