MASTERS DESPITE BIRDIE HAT-TRICK

Peterhead's Philip McLean is lying joint 29th on 147 (74-73) with one round to go in the Polish Masters golf tournament at Sobienie Golf Club. The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre player birdied the first three holes in his second round but was five over par for the remainder.

Three players, Floris de Haas (Netherlands), Stephan Gross (Germany) and Kenny Le Sager (France) share the lead on six-under-par 136.

The tournament is on the German PGA's developmental Pro Golf Tour (EPD) schedule.
