Next year's Scottish Seniors Golfing Society stroke-play championship will be played at Deeside Golf Club - which is good news for Barry Brooks who won the title at Blairgowrie in June.
"Great news that the championship will be played over a course with which I am very familiar," said Barry who was one of the North-east's leading amateurs when he won the Aberdeen Links championship in1992.
He is now a member at Meldrum House Golf Club, Oldmeldrum and has won twice on the Scottish senior circuit this season.
"I am enjoying the fact that I can be competitive again in my 50s," said Barry.
