ANDREW BURGESS LEAVES FOR 

GEORGIA ON AUGUST 12

                                 Andrew and Sean Burgess - or is it Sean and Andrew?

Andrew Burgess (Nairn) leaves Scotland on August 12 to enrol at Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, Georgia.

Andrew's brother Sean has already been a couple of years at college in the States but is transferring up the ladder to Oakland University in time to boost their golf roster for the 2014-2015 college golf season.

Their dad, Andy Burgess, is the CEO at Meldrum House Hotel and Estate, Oldmeldrum.

North-east lads who are bound for America this month are Portlethen left-hander Ben Murray, Craig Stephen (Aboyne), pictured above by Cal Carson Golf Agency, and Declan Addison (Cruden Bay).

Ben is going to Midland College, Texas (where Sean Lawrie spent some time).

Craig and Declan are going to the same college - Brevard, North Carolina.
