NEWS RELEASE FROM ST ANDREWS LINKS TRUST
St Andrews Links Trust has announced its visitor green fees for
all seven of its courses throughout 2014.
There will be an increase of £5 in the high season visitor
green fee for the Old Course to £160 in 2014. The green fees on the New and
Jubilee courses will also increase by £5 to £75 in the high season, which runs
from 14 April to 31 October, whilst the green fees on the Eden and Strathtyrum courses
will increase by £5 to £45 and £30 in the high season respectively.
The Castle Course will remain at the 2013 price of £120 for a
round in the high season and the nine-hole Balgove Course continues to cost £15
to play during the same period next year.
The Trust manages the seven public courses in St Andrews
including the Old Course, which is renowned as the birthplace of the game and
will host The Open Championship in 2015, the 29th time it has been staged at
the Home of Golf which is, more than any other venue.
Significant efforts have been made in recent years to
maintain the courses in top class condition and to improve the facilities and
services for every golfer at the Links.

The application forms for making Advanced Reservations for
2014 on the Old Course, The Castle Course and the other St Andrews Links
courses are now available to download. Details of how to enter, busy dates for
2014 and a comprehensive green fees list can also be found at www.standrews.org.uk. The Advanced Reservations process opens from 2pm BST on Wednesday,
September 4 when the forms should be emailed to reservations@standrews.org.uk. Applications will not be accepted
prior to that time.
