England name three to defend
Portugal Nations Cup
England have selected Jamie Abbott, Sam Hutsby and Luke Goddard to defending the Portugal Nations Cup at the Vale do Lobo Resort on the Algarve this week.
A year ago, at the same venue, England, in the shape of Ben Parker, Ben Evans and Chris Wood, won the inaugural Portugal Nations Cup after a dramatic final day in which they took the title on card countback from Ireland.
Abbott, 21, from Fynn Valley in Suffolk, was called up from the reserve list to play for England on the final day of the recent Home Internationals at Muirfield after Eddie Pepperell and Charlie Ford became ill.
