GREAT SCOTT! JAMIESON MAKES THE CUT
IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Just when it looked as if Scott Jamieson was going to miss the cut for only the second time this season on the NGA Hooters Tour, the Glasgow man produced a scintillating second round of six-under-par 66 - a nine-shot improvement - for a 36-hole tally of three-under-par 141 in the rain-delayed Charleston Miracle League Open tournament at Wescott Plantation, Summerville in South Carolina.
Edinburgh exile David Kirkpatrick failed to make the cut by one shot with 74 and 71 for 145.
Chip Deason from Birmingham, Alabama leads the chase for the $33,000 first prize with 68 and 66 for 10-under-par 134.
Jamieson has hauled himself up to a share of 22nd place.
