BANCHORY PAIR STRUGGLING
ON FLORIDA MINI-TOUR
Banchory’s Mark Barnard and Paul Cormack are fighting to avoid the second-round cut in this week’s event at Stoneybrook East Golf Club, Florida on the NGA Professional Tour Winter Series.
Mark, an assistant pro attached to Slaley Hall, had a first-round 75, three over par. That put him in joint 77th place overnight.
Cormack (Inchmarlo Golf Centre) is sharing 108th place in a field of 130 after a 78.
Only the top 50 and ties contest the third round.
Edinburgh exile David Kirkpatrick had a 73 to be sharing 50th place.
