Keir McNicoll has moved into pole position at the top of the Polaris World Property Resales Order of Merit table following his maiden victory in the Swallow Hotels East of Scotland Open.
Carnoustie ace McNicoll topped the field at a stormy Lundin Links to win his first ever 72-hole event, just one shot ahead of John Gallagher (Swanston) and Lloyd Saltman (Craigielaw).
The 21 year old was also third in the St Andrews Links Trophy, four shots behind winner Oliver Fisher, and secured a top ten finish in the Tennant Cup to propel himself to the top of the Polaris World Property Resales Order of Merit table on 485 points.
Scott Jamieson (Cathkin Braes) is in hot pursuit, however, on 413.30 points after finishing second at the Tennant Cup, and fourth in the East of Scotland Open at the weekend.
Scottish Stroke Play Champion Scott Henry is relegated to third, but he is just off the pace, trailing Jamieson by just 50 points. Henry has a comfortable cushion over John Gallagher in fourth on 287.50 points. Swanston star Gallagher has closed the gap, however, after winning the Tennant Cup and finishing second behind McNicoll in the East of Scotland Open.
